 Close to the beach in Playa Langosta and a mile from the center of Tamarindo, Puesta del Sol and Casa Wendt are the luxurious answers to your vacation dreams.
Entry is through a large metal gate. Inside the gate you will find plenty of parking, a garage, and small yard. Around back, you will find a large yard, patio area, and pool. The entire property is enclosed by high walls on three sides and a tall lush hedge along the back giving one a sense of complete privacy and seclusion.
These houses are Hacienda style and “L” shaped,. On one leg of the “L” are two bedrooms that open onto the patio and pool. Each bedroom has it’s own bath and shower. The first bedroom has a queen bed, the second two doubles. On the other leg of the “L” is a large living, dining, and kitchen area that also opens to the pool and patio. Upstairs is a large master bedroom and bath that overlooks the pool. The bath is beautifully done with marble counter tops and inlaid sinks.
They are wonderfully decorated and fully equipped with all the amenities you would expect  in a luxury rental, including TVs, DVD, stereo, washer and dryer, and fully equipped kitchen.
Less than a minute’s walk to Langosta Beach, you’re also just steps away from a small grocery store, three good restaurants, and a small internet cafe. Only a mile and change from the center of Tamarindo, it’s an easy 20 minute walk to town. Langosta is a great place to surf and swim at the mouth of the estuary. Cross the estuary and you’re on one of the most pristine beaches in Costa Rica.
