Day 1:
Arrive at San Jose International Airport and be met by our driver who will be holding up a sign with your name on it. He will take you to the Zamora Estates Hotel where you will spend one night. The Zamora Estate is a lovely property with private trails and is the home to many varieties of birds. Be sure to sit on the deck at sunset and watch the Egrets come to roost for the night alongside the pond.
Day 2:
After enjoying breakfast this morning, you'll leave for the airport at about 8.00 am and fly to Puerto Jimenez airport. A driver from Bosque del Cabo will be waiting to drive you to the Bosque del Cabo Rainforest Lodge where you will spend the next 3 nights.
Crowning a point 500 feet above where the Golfo Dulce meets the Pacific Ocean, nestled in the unspoiled jungles of Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula is a true paradise. Bosque del Cabo is a premier Costa Rica Eco Lodge offering a romantic rain forest getaway and a naturalist’s dream come true.
Day 3:
Take a private guided birding tour in the morning, led by an experienced guide. You will see and learn about the abundant variety of birds. Then relax and enjoy the natural beauty surrounding you. The hotel offers many things to do, or you may choose to lounge by the pool or take a walk through the gardens and jungle
Day 4:
Corcovado National Park Tour
For a full day deep in the rain forest, Corcovado National Park is unparalleled for breathtaking beauty, abundant wildlife and foliage nearly pulsing with lushness.
The quiet of the jungle is occasionally broken with the guttural bark of howler monkeys, the shrieks of Scarlet Macaws and the rustle of Agoutis in the bush. Sloths make their slow way among branches overhead. The rainforest canopy creates a cool environment for hiking well-groomed trails.
At midday we'll have lunch under the shade of a mango tree on Llorona beach allowing you to enjoy the hiss and boom of the surf while resting from your morning's expedition.
The next leg of the adventure is a walk up the San Pedrillo River, leading to a rainforest waterfall great for a cool dip.
Day 5:
Today you'll be driven back to San Jose and to Zamora Estate where you will spend two nights.
Day 6:
La Paz Water Fall Garden for lunch and tour
On arrival to the La Paz, we will walk a trail, leading to a spectacular waterfall in the middle of the rainforest. Inside the park we will also visit the hummingbird gallery, the serpentarium, the bird house, the butterfly garden and the frog’s exhibit.
Day 7:
You will be driven to airport for your flight home.

10 Night Birding Adventure
Day 1:

Today is the day for your early birding tour. Enjoy a short hike near the Camp to see many of the 400 species of birds that are resident there. Then relax and enjoy the natural beauty surrounding you. The hotel offers many things to do, or you may choose to lounge by the pool or take a walk through the gardens and jungle

Today, you're driven back to the airport for your flight to San Jose and your travel to Monteverde Cloud Forest. You will be staying at El Establo for the next 4 nights.
Day 6:
Early Birding Tour -- 6 am
This 5 hour tour takes you on a journey to see the abundant variety of birds found in the Monteverde area. This is a guided tour with expert tour guides.
Day 7:
Guided Cloud Forest Hike Santa Elena
The variable climate and large altitudinal gradient have helped to produce an amazingly heterogeneous set of creatures that live here. Some of these include the jaguar, ocelot, Baird’s tapir, three-wattled bellbird, bare-necked umbrellabird, and the famously elusive resplendent quetzal.
Day 8:
The Guided Nature Tour Monteverde provides a broader and more thorough experience of the marvels of the cloud forest. They are conducted by naturalist guides specializing in the area of Monteverde and Selvatura Park, which ensures that each walk will have a biological, ornithological and cultural approach of Monteverde and the cloud forest.
Day 9:
You will be driven to the San Jose area where you'll return to the Zamora Estates Hotel for your last two nights

Day 1:
Arrive in San Jose where you will be met by a driver who will take you to Hotel Si Como No near the lovely Manuel Antonio National Park on the Central Pacific Coast. You will be staying here for three nights. Breakfast is included in your stay.

Day 2:
Morning Tour of Manuel Antonio National Park
You will be picked up by the tour operator at your hotel and head directly to Manuel Antonio National Park. This national park is one of the most famous in our country due to its wide variety of flora and fauna specimens. The park itself boasts 3 different trails, varying in grade from flat to very steep. On this Manuel Antonio tour you will be accompanied by a nature guide who is knowledgeable about everything you will see. The trail you will take is flat and picturesque and loops through the park making your course approximately 2 miles long.
Day 3:
Damas Island Mangrove Tour
This Manuel Antonio tour takes you through the natural channels and provides an ideal opportunity to observe heron species, kingfishers, ospreys, frigots and other migratory birds. As you journey through the brackish waters you can catch glimpses of the island as you pass beneath tunnels made naturally from tree growths.
Day 4:
Today, you will be driven to the town of Uvita where you will stay at Oxygen Hotel for 3 nights. The Oxygen Jungle Villas are inspired by traditional Indonesian architecture comining a Balinese style with modern comfort and quality.
Day 5:
Whales and Dolphins Tour
On a trip that takes between 2 and 3 hours, you will have the unique opportunity to observe different species of dolphins and whales. The dolphins are seen all year round, while the whales can be spotted from November to March and July to September.

Savegre White Water Rafting
Get ready for a day of adrenaline and extreme fun! This tour provides transportation from your hotel to the river put it. You will enjoy the scenic road trip as it takes you over winding gravel roads through remote countryside landscapes. While you are attempting to tame the rapids of Savegre River, your guide will be riding beside you to ensure your safety. This river features class II and class III rapids. Once you reach the end of the river you will be able to take a closer look at your surroundings and admire the colorful flora and fauna. Your guide will lead you to a stunning waterfall where you will stop for snacks. You can take advantage of this relaxing pause and swim a little in the calm pond nearby. Your guide will help you find notable species of primary jungle vegetation. You will also be served a delicious homemade meal for lunch.
Day 8:
Transfer to La Cusinga Rainforest Lodge for 5 nights.

A day trip to Caño Island will prove to be an unforgettable experience to divers, snorkelers, hikers, and nature lovers alike.
The island is around 8 miles off the coast of the Osa Peninsula. You will likely have the opportunity to see schools of dolphins swimming around the boat. Whales cruise these waters and are often sighted during their migration season.
Caño Island rises like a giant emerald from the sea. Soaring coastal cliffs, white-sand beaches and a densely forested interior make this island one of the most dramatic landmasses in the area.

Combo Tour in Marino Ballena National Park
Marino Ballena National Park is named after the Humpback Whales that migrate here each year from December to April to mate before returning to the frigid waters to the north. Along with whale watching you will be able to snorkel in the beautiful waters of this prized national park

SUP has its roots in ancient Polynesia and looks exactly as it sounds: you stand up on a large, wide, super buoyant surfboard & use a long paddle.
Feel like you're walking in water!
You will be picked up from your hotel and head to Lake Arenal. The pristine, undeveloped Lake Arenal is the 2nd-largest body of fresh water in Central America and the ideal location to take a SUP lesson. YOu will receive a thorough safety talk and SUP lesson and continue to practice under the careful watch of your instructor. Once you are ready you will take a tour of the West-end of Lake Arenal while you paddle along. From your vantage point you'll get excellent views of the behemoth Arenal Volcano in the background for the best picture-taking opportunities. Your guide will teach you about the interesting flora and fauna of the area. You'll work up an appetote so enjoy tropical fruit and drinks provided by your guide.
Day 3:
Travel to La Fortuna Waterfall by Horseback
Get spectacular views of the Arenal Volcano and the green countryside as you travel by horseback to the 140-foot Río Fortuna waterfall. Then take a 20-minute hike to the river to cool off in the rushing waters beneath the waterfall.
Day 4:

Day 5:
Manuel Antonio Park Tour
Transportation provided by the tour operator will pick you up at your hotel from where you will start your ride to Manuel Antonio National Park. This national park is one of the most famous in our country due to its wide variety of flora and fauna specimens. The park itself boasts 3 different trails that vary in grade from flat to very steep.
On this Manuel Antonio tour you will be accompanied by a nature guide who is knowledgeable about everything you will see. The trail you will take is flat and picturesque and loops through the park making your course approximately 2 miles long. Throughout the hike your guide will stop and explain the different nature specimens that can be observed, you can take photographs or just admire the view.
One of the highlights of this Manuel Antonio tour is that the park is home to 3 of the 4 existing monkey species in Costa Rica. Half way through the hike you will make a leisure stop at the third beach located within the national park. You will have approximately 20 minutes to rest on the beach or play among the waves if you so choose. Throughout the hike you will be able to observe sloths, birds and reptiles as well as admire orchids, butterflies and tropical trees. The guides that accompany you on this Manuel Antonio Trip are equipped with Pentax and Suvaroski telescopes that you can use to observe wildlife and take pictures with a different perspective. Upon finishing the tour you will be provided with transportation back to your hotel.

Your driver will take you to The Grano de Oro Hotel where you will spend one night in a Vista de Oro Suite Situated on a shady street just off Paseo Colon, San Jose’s main thoroughfare, Hotel Grano de Oro is a true oasis, a sanctuary in the heart of the city. Converted from a Tropical Victorian mansion, the 40-room hotel maintains the warmth and comfort of a private home.
Hallways lined with period photographs and original art meander through the building and present lush tropical flower arrangements and luxurious plants at every turn. Spanish tile fountains grace intimate atriums, ensuring that one is never far from the soothing melody of falling water. The entire Hotel is non-smoking.
Day 11:
Early this morning, your driver will pick you up from the main doors of Grano de Oro for your 2 night, 3 day Pacure Lodge River rafting Adventure. You will be staying in the honeymoon suite.
You will have a a typical Costa Rican breakfast in route. Next your exciting 1-1½ hour river rafting tour to the Pacuare Lodge (class II-III rapids) . After lunch participate in an optional canopy tour (not included in package price) or waterfall hike, or simply relax in your honeymoon suite. After candlelight dinner visit our upstairs lounge for a cocktail or refreshment before retiring to a restful night’s sleep.
Day 12:
You’ll wake up to bird song and the soothing sound of the river nearby. Then head over to the main lodge for a delicious breakfast of home-made bread, tropical fruits, yogurt, eggs, pancakes, cereal and juice and coffee.
The lodge employs a resident naturalist guide who will provide you with unique insights into the plant and animal world. Choose from exciting optional tours that include guided hikes through an emerald rainforest, the Cabecar Indian tour - where visitors may participate in a cultural exchange with a shaman and our Adventure Canopy Tour – where visitors glide amid a tropical rainforest canopy.
Day 13:
Departure between 9:00-10:00 am. In the morning you will depart by raft for an even more fun-filled day of white water rating excitement (approximately 3½ hours over class III-IV rapids), including a delicious picnic lunch along the river. At our river take-out you will have a chance to change at our private facilities before being transferred by private minibus back to your hotel. Arrival back in San Jose between 5:30-6:30 pm.
You will be dropped off at the Zamora Estates Hotel at approximately 6 pm. Be sure to have a delicious dinner prepared by Zamora's own gourmet chef, Ana (she's also one of the owners). Having dinner at Zamora Estates on your last night in Costa Rica is a wonderful way to end a fantastic trip.
Day 14:
Time to say goodbye! Transfer to the airport for your trip home.

Day 6:
Dolphin Watch Tour
A knowledgeable local guide will take you on a 3-3½ hour boat tour of the gulf. This tour is centered around finding and perhaps swimming close to pods of dolphins (the most commonly seen are spinner, spotted, bottle-nosed, and striped dolphins). Usually your guide can find these gentle and beautiful creatures without too much trouble (of course it isn’t guaranteed since the dolphins are wild, but the guides almost always find them). If you want to get in the water to get a better view you can get on a plane board. The captain will get you as close as possible. This experience will be one that you will never forget! Sometimes, if you are lucky, your boat may even come across docile whale sharks, or even whales. This trip is great for families or anyone that enjoys a day on the water and seeing the amazing marine life we are so lucky to have in our stunning gulf.
Day 7:
Today after breakfast the hotel will drive you back to the airstrip for your flight back to San Jose. Upon arrival your driver will be waiting to transfer you to Zamora Estates to spend your last night in total comfort before your flight home tomorrow.
Day 8:
You will be driven to the airport in time for your flight home.
