Latitudes - the Adventure Co. owners know
the country like no others. Our president, Roberto Leiva,
is a native Costa Rican and a pioneer of tourism in
this country while our vice-president, Larissa Banting,
has written a guidebook and travel articles on Costa
Rica.

bilingual, fully trained in first-aid, safety and natural
history and dedicated to making your vacation the very

Roberto has guided travelers throughout
Costa Rica since 1987 and was the first Costa Rican
to own a white water rafting company. He successfully
competed in and completed the grueling Raid Galuoise
Adventure Race, which saw teams trek from one end of
Costa Rica to the other via horseback, hiking, rafting,
canoeing, and biking - and even by parachute. He brings
his intimate knowledge of Costa Rica and his two decades
of guiding experience to every Latitudes - the Adventure
Co. vacation.

| Larissa has assisted hundreds
of satisfied travelers to Costa Rica, creating personalized
trip itineraries for families, honeymooners, beach lovers
and adventure seekers. |

As a guide, Roberto’s clients have
included presidents (Nobel Peace Prize winner, Oscar
Arias), princes (Holland’s Prince William) and
movie stars (Margaux Hemingway). Prior to his career
in tourism, Roberto was the Assistant Chief of Protocol
to two presidents, ensuring heads of state received
first class service during their visits to Costa Rica.

a publicist for film, television and theatre, working
with such luminaries as ballet star Mikhail Baryshnikov,
movie stars Mimi Rogers, Henry Czerny, Matt Frewer, Alec
Baldwin and Margo Kidder. |
