Welcome to Alex and Eric’s wedding travel site! Please join us for our wedding celebration in Arenal (La Fortuna), Costa Rica. This site will give you an idea of the accommodations we have set aside for our wedding guests. We hope that you can make this time a vacation for yourselves and join us for a few extra days of adventure and events.
Latitudes - the Adventure Co. will be able to assist you with your planning. They are located in San Jose, Costa Rica, and are available to answer any questions you may have about the country and will assist you in making your travel arrangements (there is no additional fee for any of this). Just contact Seran or Yi, in Reservations, via the toll-free line at 1-866-735-9115 or via email to Seran at travel@latitudesadventure.com to make your reservations, as they have reserved all the rooms in one block booking. All hotel rooms must be booked through the travel agent and not directly with the hotel.
Latitudes can assist you with all aspects of travel in Costa Rica (in-country flights, car rentals, tours, hotels) at no additional cost. For guests flying in from the US please click here for options. If you plan on using Frequent Flier miles, we suggest you book them far in advance as these seats are typically available in limited quantities. The airport code is SJO.

The name 'Costa Rica' literally means 'rich coast' in Spanish and while it may lack gold, jewels or other material wealth, this tiny country has shown the rest of the world that peace is the greatest treasure of all. The only country in the Western Hemisphere without an army, Costa Rica has been called the 'Switzerland of the Americas' for its visionary belief that weapons and war are not the answer.
As the meeting place of North and South America, Costa Rica has over 6% of the entire Earth's plants and animals on a landmass that is less than 0.01% of the planet's surface, making it the most bio-diverse place on Earth. Thankfully, these natural treasures are protected in national parks, reserves and refuges accounting for 26% of Costa Rica's territory.
In addition to incredible flora and fauna, Costa Rica has 13 different microclimates and a short drive will take you from a misty cloud forest to hot dry plains to lush rainforests. Mountains, volcanoes, rain forests, cloud forests, jungles, beaches, mangroves, islands - it's all here. Whether your passion is hiking in a remote jungle or relaxing on the beach, Costa Rica fits the bill perfectly.

Description: The Arenal Paraíso hotel is located just in front of the Arenal volcano. The scenic beauty of the area perfectly blends with the exuberant gardens and the singularity of its rooms. In addition to 2 pools, it also offers a hot spring mineral water pool. |

Standard rooms: These rooms have private bath, hot water, fan, telephone, cable TV and a small fridge. The building is made of block and all have a balcony just in front of the majestic Arenal Volcano. $75 + tax per night (double occupancy, breakfast included). |

Superior rooms: Superior rooms include all the same features as the standard rooms, however, these bungalows are bigger, the balcony is surrounded by glass, the building is made of wood and the rooms have a/c. $105 + tax per night (double occupancy, breakfast included). |

Private transfer in a/c unit with bilingual driver/guide:
- 1-4 pax - $170 per way
- 5-8 pax - $200 per way
- Larger groups will be priced as requested. All land transfers include bilingual driver/guide, a/c and cooler with refreshments and snacks.
******Interbus has two daily shuttles to Arenal - one at 8:00am and the other at 2:30pm at a price of $35 per person. If your flight arrives in time to transfer to a hotel in San Jose you can be picked up in the lobby of the hotel (they do not pick-up at the airport). Or if you stay overnight in a hotel in the San Jose area you can be picked-up at the hotel lobby the next morning or afternoon)****** |

The one-way flight has a cost of $81 + tax per person (Nature Air) or $65 + tax per person (SANSA). Each of the two carriers has only one flight a day to Arenal.
