Animal Rescue Center, Waterfall and Chocolate House - $55 per person
Our Animal Rescue Center, Waterfall and Chocolate House trip combines three of our favorite local activities. It includes: Entrance and tour of the Jaguar Animal Rescue Centre located near Playa Cocles. This serves as a refuge and rehabilitation center for many local animals including members of the cat family, monkeys, snakes and more. Hike to a beautiful waterfall and a visit to see organic indigenous chocolate being made — the whole process from the growing of the Cacao plant to the making of chocolate.

Caribbean Canopy & Zipline - $55 per adult, $27.50 per child
This adrenaline experience begins with a short walk to the first platform where our guides will meticulously check all the equipment. Following this inspection our guides will give short but very important instructions on how to slide properly along the cables. This tour includes 9 aerial platforms and 14 on land for a total of 2560 meters of cable. Once you climb the 8th platform, you will not touch the ground again until the final run which will give you a spectacular bird’s eye view of the jungle.

Cahuita Boat, Snorkel and Hiking Trip - $49 per person
You will be picked up at your hotel and be taken to the village of Cahuita. There the captain and the guide are waiting for you to take you by boat to the coral reef where you are going to snorkeling for two hours in two different points of the National Park. After that we will go back to the beach for a rest and to have a snack with tropical fruits. The little break at the beach is followed by a 1 hour guided hike in this wonderful coastal forest: monkeys, sloths, birds, poison dart frogs and iguanas.

Gandoca-Manzanillo Refuge Jungle Hike - $55 per person
While you walk into the forest, you will wonder about the exotic vegetation. Most of the trees are covered with mosses, lichens, bromeliads, orchids and other plants that cascade from the branches of these gigantic trees creating a backdrop for life in the jungle.
We will spot many different species of birds from the 384 species we have in this area. Some examples are hummingbirds, tanagers, owls, and toucans.

River and Sea Kayaking with Rainforest Hike - $49 per person
This trip consists of three sections. After a safety briefing we will first embark in a magical sea kayaking journey paralleling a coast full of cliffs, caves, and the most amazing rainforest. Then we will paddle our way up river though gorgeous rainforest where you can expect to spot monkeys, sloth, colorful birds, river turtles, bats and iguanas. Your professional guide will deliver a lot of interesting insights on this wonderful eco system. Back at the beach we will take a nice break to relax, swim and enjoy some nicely presented fresh fruit and snacks before hiking to the great over view at Grape Point.

Uatsi Waterfall and Indigenous Reservation - $45 per person – 2 person minimum
Guided hike to a beautiful waterfall, trip to an indigenous reservation, view stop of the Sixoala River (the border between Costa Rica and Panama,) visit to see organic indigenous chocolate being made -- the whole process from the growing of the Cacao plant to the making of chocolate.

Canyoning - $85.00 per Adult, $42.50 per Child
Our transportation leaves us at the entrance of the reserve where we will begin a walk with our guide who will show us the different flora and fauna that live in the zone. We will then arrive at the Carbón River. After crossing the river, we arrive at natural pools where we can jump in, swim and play. When we get to the first waterfall we will do a practice rappel on this smaller waterfall (about 5 meters/15 feet high). We will then walk until arriving at the 125 feet/40m waterfall where we will do two rappels from two different points. When finishing rappelling we will enjoy a lunch served at the base of the waterfall, surrounded by an astonishing landscape. An unforgettable experience that you don't want to miss!

ATV Jungle Tour - $80 per person (single), $55 per person (double)
You will meet your guide who will explain the operation of your ATV and give you basic instructions on safety. You then will have a short practice session before starting your adventure tour. This tour takes you through the jungle and mountain trails of Talamanca where you will observe wildlife and arrive at a waterfall of singular beauty. Here we will take a break and enjoy a snack of fresh tropical fruit. Next, we will visit an indigenous community where you will learn about medicinal plants and how the Indian people use them. You will also discover more about their customs and way of life. Then back to Puerto Viejo where we will drop you off at your hotel.

Horseback Riding - $70 per person
Leave behind worries and stress, hop on a good horse, a comfortable saddle and a trail that leads you to one spectacular post card view after another. We’ll take you to the perfect spots for capturing once in a lifetime photos and viewing wildlife in its natural habitat. You will be able to see sea eagles, giant jungle trees, gorgeous butterflies, sloths, howler monkeys, toucans and Amazon parrots. Our voice trained horses are able to take any riders from beginner to advanced through the gallop of a life time along the most breathtaking side and immaculate Caribbean beaches of Costa Rica.
Duration: 2 to 3 hours.

Surf Lessons - $50 per person
The Puerto Viejo area is a great place to learn to surf or improve your skills as there are a variety of beaches with different surf conditions suitable from everyone from beginners to experts. Our local instructor has a lifetime of experience and is properly certified. He will take you to a safe spot where you will be able to enjoy and feel the passion of running a wave. You are guaranteed to stand up by the end of the 2 hour session.
