DAY 1:
Your flight will land in San Jose, Costa Rica and you'll be ready to begin your adventure. Our driver will be waiting for you as you walk out of the airport and will take you to your hotel, the Don Carlos (about 20 minutes from the airport).
Located in the oldest historical section of San José, the hotel is a small, but significant part of Costa Rica’s rich heritage. Formerly home to two past Presidential families, the historical Hotel Don Carlos’ is warm and charming. Enjoy Costa Rica’s finest art works as you stroll through the gallery-like corridors and maze of quiet, garden & fountain settings, restaurant and mini pool. DAYS 2-3:
Over the next two days, you'll experience unforgettable white water rafting on the Pacuare River! You'll be picked up nice and early from the hotel (time to be determined, usually about 6:30am).
RIO PACUARE 2 DAY RAFTING ADVENTURE
Meet your driver in the lobby to be taken to your two day rafting experience with Pacuare Lodge. At the Pacuare Lodge, you can bird watch, hike, swim, fish, explore the rainforest canopy, visit a traditional indigenous community, or simply relax. Though the scenery and nature are spectacular, guests are equally impressed with the service, comfort, food and details such as the wine cellar, candlelight dinners and massage therapist. Many also applaud the Lodge's commitment to conservation, improving life in nearby communities, and mitigating our environmental impact through recycling, organic ingredients and reforestation, allowing you a carbon-neutral experience.
After your rafting adventure you will be dropped off at the Arenal Manoa Lodge near the Arenal Volcano. The Arenal Manoa Hotel is a beautiful place to rest, relax and enjoy the marvelous view of Arenal Volcano. Surrounded by gardens, pastures and animals, their rooms have been designed so that each one offers you a panoramic view of the volcano.
DAY 4:
You'll wake up and enjoy a delicious breakfast (included) at your hotel in their award-winning El Dorado Restaurant. Afterward you'll depart for your first tour...
The Lost Canyon is an experience of a lifetime – go where very few have had the privilege to roam: Imagine yourself in the midst of thick rainforest at the top of a magical canyon full of tropical waterfalls with surprises each step of the way. Prepare to get wet as our guides put you into your safety harness and you rappel and downclimb a series of 8 waterfalls that get gradually BIGGER!
Day 5:
This morning we head to the beach! After breakfast your driver will arrive and take you to Manuel Antonio. Nestled in the magnificent coastal forests of Costa Rica, Gaia Hotel and Reserve's well-appointed, terraced suites and villas offer views of lush and pristine wild surroundings that are beyond compare.
Day 6:
ATV Tour
You will ride through the mountain without reaching the mountaintop, taking occasional stops to interact with each other and rest. Throughout your journey you will be able to spot birds, dense vegetation and other impressive examples of nature. The end of the trail is marked by a stunning waterfall where you will dismount, hike approximately 300m and enjoy a 30 minute pit stop to take a swim or just kick back and admire the view.
Day 7:
Canopy Tour
Your canopy route consists of 12 cables and 16 platforms, 4 of which are built on the ground. The remaining 12 hang 90ft over the verdant tree canopy. As you zip from platform to platform and soar over the leafy treetops, you will be amazed by the new perspective of nature’s wonders that this Manuel Antonio tour offers you.
Day 8:
Manuel Antonio National Park Tour
Manuel Antonio, with its 1700 acres of land mass and 135,906 acres of marine reserve, is the smallest of the 20 national parks Costa Rica has set aside for total protection. The park is the natural habitat of species such as the endangered squirrel monkey (endemic to the area), white faced capuchin monkey, raccoons, three and two-toed sloths, white-nosed coaties, brown pelicans, black-collared hawks and green kingfishers. They share the space with primary and secondary forests, bursting with cedars, bully trees, black locusts and silk cotton trees. A mangrove swamp covers about 44.5 acres, adding to the biodiversity of the region. Three different species: red mangrove, buttonwood mangrove and white mangrove.
Your driver will meet you in the lobby at 4:00 pm to take you back to the San Jose area. You will be dropped off at the Zamora Estates Hotel. Be sure to have a delicous dinner at Zamora Estates prepared by Zamora's resident gourmet chef, Ana (she's also one of the owners). Having dinner at Zamora is the perfect way to end a fantastic trip to Costa Rica.
Day 9:
Enjoy one of Ana's amazing breakfasts before you head to to the airport for your return flight .

9 Day Adventure Arenal Volcano / Tamarindo / Rincon de La Vieja
DAY 1:
Your flight will land in Liberia, Costa Rica and you'll be ready to begin your adventure. Our driver will be waiting for you as you walk out of the airport. You'll then be driven to the Arenal Volcano area where you'll be staying for the next three nights at the Arenal Manoa Hotel.
Day 2:
After breakfast depart for an incredible adrenaline pumping tour. Mambo Combo - Canyoneering and Rafting. Make the most of your limited vacation time! Combine the exciting Lost Canyon Adventures Canyoneering with rafting on the beautiful Río Balsa. For a full-day of pure adrenaline, rappel and hike down amazing waterfalls in a pristine, rain forest canyon and then go rafting on the beautiful class 2-3 Río Balsa – the perfect blend of whitewater and wildlife, rolling rapids, and vibrant jungle – guaranteed more wildlife than any other rafting trip in Costa Rica!
Day 3:
Canopy Zip-Line Tour
This tour gives you the opportunity to fly down a cable and have a unique experience of adventure and adrenaline at speeds of up to 40 miles per hour with distances from 2500 feet and heights of 524 feet. In addition, the tour offers 5 observation towers above the cloud forest treetops, giving you a truly panoramic view.
In the afternoon, after you've had lunch and a chance to lay by the pool, you are picked up at about 3:30pm for your next adventure.
Arenal Volcano Hike - Liquid Lava Tour
Hike through lush rainforest with a naturalist guide close to the base of the Arenal Volcano where you'll wait for sunset at the observation point. As it starts to get dark, on clear nights you can see the amazing lava flow of Central America's most-active volcano. Later, take a relaxing dip in the natural hot springs at the new and magnificent Baldi Springs then enjoy the area's specialty tropical drinks at the swim-up bar.
Day 4:
This morning after breakfast you will be driven to Tamarindo and the Tamarindo Diria Hotel. Stay in a Sunset Ocean View Room located on the world famous Tamarindo Beach. Spread out over 5 acres, the resort, a
mixture of traditional and contemporary design, is surrounded by exotic and beautifully maintained lush tropical gardens. Tamarindo Beach is just a few steps from your hotel room.
Day 5:
Today prepare for an early morning departure for a full day trip on the Corobici River. This gentle float trip is safe for young and old alike while offering the sights of birds, monkeys and other wildlife that thrive along the river's edge. In the late afternoon it is back to your hotel for a relaxing evening on your own. Enjoy dinner at the hotel or venture into town for a taste of the local fare.
Day 6:
After breakfast your private driver will pick you up and take you to Hacienda Guachipelin. Hotel Hacienda Guachipelín, dedicated to ecotourism, is situated at the foot of the Rincón de la Vieja volcano near Liberia, Guanacaste. You’ll find the hacienda surrounded by wealthy gardens with native trees, exotic flowers, a great variety of birds and astonishing views at the Rincón de la Vieja volcano and the Pacific Ocean.
You can experience horseback riding tours, a canopy tour, tubing the rapids of the Río Negro, various hiking trails, natural hot water springs, rivers and crystal clear waterfalls, virgin forests with birds, mammals, reptiles and insects. Be sure to try the relaxing volcanic mud pools. We are happy to wprk with you to pick the tours you are most interested in.
Day 7:
Today prepare yourself for an otherworldly experience as you journey to Rincon de la Vieja National Park. Hiking trough the Rincon de la Vieja National Park is a great experience for the entire family. As you hike see boiling hot mud springs, sulfur springs, steam vents, and fumaroles are abundant at Las Pilas inside the park. There you can find wildlife and exotic flora. A Naturalist Guide and typical lunch is included.
DAY 8:
Enjoy a leisurely morning and experience your last day at Hacienda Guachipelin. You can spend today on your own exploring the beauty surrounding you. Prepare yourself mentally for the journey home, taking with you many incredible experiences and memories.

DAY 1:
Arrival
Arrive at San Jose International Airport (SJO) where you'll be picked up by your driver who will be waiting outside holding a sign with your names on it. He will take you to Banana Azul in Puerto Viejo on the beautiful Carribbean Coast. Here you will stay in the Apartment by the hotel with beautiful garden and partial ocean view.
DAY 2:
Animal Sanctuary/Chocolate Tour
Wake and enjoy your breakfast and prepare to be picked up by your tour company to take you to your Animal Sanctuary and Chocolate Farm Tour.
This trip combines three of our most popular activities: a visit to the Jaguar Rescue Center, a visit to an indigenous family that shows you how they make chocolate right from the Cacao trees in their yard and a visit to a local waterfall and swimming hole.
The Jaguar Animal Center rehabilitates mistreated, injured and/or confiscated animals, which are then reintroduced to their natural habitat in protected areas. Visitors have direct contact with monkeys, wild cats, sloths, raccoons, anteaters, marsupials, reptiles, amphibians, etc.
DAY 3:
White Water Rafting
This trip gives you the ultimate blend of wilderness exposure and invigorating excitement. The Pacuare River is world famous for its pristine beauty. A true river gorge, it is flanked by steep, green walls. Waterfalls cascade into the river from both sides as colorful, tropical birds fly right over your head.
DAY 4:
Cahuita Boat, Snorkel and Hiking Trip
Parque Nacional Cahuita has the largest system of Coral Reefs in Costa Rica, including 6 species of coral, a wide range of colorful tropical fishes and the occasional encounter of a harmless reef shark or sting ray. This beach has a horse shoe shape, with the entrance of the park at one end and beautiful Punta Cahuita at the other end.
DAY 5:
Arenal Manoa
After breakfast you'll make your way back to Puerto Viejo for a drop off at Hotel Banana Azul, where you'll be met by your shuttle bus at 10:15 a.m. and will be taken the Arenal Area. The ride will take approximately 6 and 1/2 hours and will bring you to the luxurious Arenal Manoa Hotel in La Fortuna. Have lunch (not included), relax by the pool; enjoy the Jacuzzi and feast in the El Dorado Restaurant (not included), all while you enjoy the view of the flow of lava from the nearby Arenal Volcano.
DAY 6:
Hanging Bridges Tour
Pick-up: 7:45 a.m.
Because most wildlife is visible in the mornings, the Arenal Hanging Bridges tour takes place early on a 600-acre reserve filled with lush vegetation and a variety of birds and animals which your experienced guide will help you spot. The trail itself is 1.9 miles (3.1 km) in length, crossing nine fixed bridges and 6 suspension bridges and is laid out at a maximum grade of 7 degrees so that anyone can walk it. After your tour, you'll be transported back to your hotel for lunch.
Canopy Tour
Be ready at the hotel to be picked up at 2:30 pm for your exiting Canopy (Zip-Line) tour.
Sky Trek runs one of the best canopy tours in the country. Your adventure starts with a tour in the Sky Tram to reach the top of the Arenal Reserve. There you begin your adrenaline-filled tour above the treetops, consisting of a system of zip lines. They allow you to observe the rainforest and its landscape from a different perspective, safely in an innovative and different system.
The tour includes 8 cross-sectional cables that together have a total length of 1.7 miles with distances from 100 to 2460 feet, and with a maximum height of 660 feet, which exceed the treetops providing a panoramic view of the Arenal volcano and lake.
They will take you back to your hotel so you can rest up for tomorrow.
DAY 7:
Transfer to San Jose
Today after having time to lounge and enjoy the facilities at the hotel your transport will pick you up at the hotel in the afternoon and transfer you to San Jose. You will be dropped off at the hotel Don Carlos. The Don Carlos Hotel is located in the oldest historical section of San José, the Hotel Don Carlos is a small, but a significant part of Costa Rica’s rich heritage. Once the residence of two past Presidential families, the historical Hotel Don Carlos’ warmth and charm, graciously awaits you. Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing in your hotel or looking around San Jose.
DAY 8:
Departure Day
You'll have breakfast in the hotel and then meet your driver for the trip to the airport for your return flight.

DAY 1:
Arrival
Arrive at San Jose International Airport (SJO) where you'll be picked up by your driver who will be waiting outside holding a sign with your names on it. He will make sure you have everything you need and will take you to Puerto Viejo to Hotel La Costa del Papito on the beautiful Caribbean Coast. Our driver will have your flight information and will track your flights just in case of any delays or problems.
DAY 2:
Animal Sanctuary/Chocolate Tour

Have lunch (not included), relax by the pool, enjoy the Jacuzzi, and feast in the El Dorado Restaurant (not included) while you enjoy the view of the flow of lava from the nearby Arenal Volcano.
DAY 6:
Arenal Volcano Hike and Baldi Hot Springs Tour
Hike through lush rain forest, with a naturalist guide, close to the base of the Arenal Volcano where we wait for sunset at the observation point. As it starts to get dark, on clear nights you can see the amazing lava flow of Central America's most-active volcano. Duration: 2.5 to 3 hours. Includes: guide, transportation, entrance to private reserve, and volcano viewpoint.
Later, take a relaxing dip in the Baldi Natural Hot Springs and enjoy the area's specialty tropical drinks at the swim-up bar (not included).This is fun for the whole family. There are also 3 waters slides for the kids to enjoy. Remember to bring bathing suits and towels. At approximately 9:30 pm you will be driven back to your hotel, where you can enjoy the rest of your evening.
DAY 7:
Canopy Tour

Explore Earth's inner-depths in Cavernas de Venado, during a 2-hour trek through underground waterfalls & smooth, stone passage-ways. See prehistoric, marine fossils and exotic cave formations. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the hotel or at the pool.
DAY 10:
Transfer to San Jose
Today your transport will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you back to San Jose. You will be dropped off at the hotel Don Carlos. The Don Carlos Hotel is located in the oldest historical section of San José, and is a small, but significant part of Costa Rica’s rich heritage. Once upon a time residence for two past Presidential families, the historical Hotel Don Carlos’ warmth and charm, graciously awaits you. Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing in your hotel.
DAY 11:
Orosi Valley Tour
Today we get out of the city for a bit to visit Cartago, first capital of Costa Rica, home of Our Lady of the Angels Basilica. After visiting the Basilica we will stop at Lankester Gardens, a University of Costa Rica Center for investigation that protects more than 800 species of orchids, bromeliads and countless species of other plants. You will continue to the Valley of Orosi where everything overflows in unparalleled beauty.
You will be able to visit one of the few remaining colonial churches and will stop for lunch in one of the local restaurants. During your tour you will be able to observe La Casa Del Soñador for an example of Costa Rican primitive art. Orosi is home to the oldest church in Costa Rica still holding mass. It was constructed in 1743 by Franciscan monks. Then, tonight it's back to the Don Carlos and tomorrow to the arts and crafts towns of Grecia and Sarchi to stock up on souvenirs and gifts for family and friends back home.
DAY 12:
Grecia and Sarchi Tour
This tour begins with a wonderful drive through some of the largest coffee and sugar cane plantations of Costa Rica. Arriving first at Grecia, we will see the famous metal church. Next, we will tour the fascinating craftsman factories of Sarchi; where they build the famous oxcarts of Costa Rica. Splendidly decorated and in various sizes, these oxcarts are treasured worldwide for their unique beauty. You will not want to leave Costa Rica without one!
Day 13:
Doka Coffee Estate, Poás Volcano and La Paz Waterfall Gardens Tour
To get to the different attractions included during this excursion we will drive by the city of Alajuela passing by the Agriculture Monument, the Monument to Juan Santamaria and the famous Mango Park.
Ascending towards the Poás Volcano you will notice the change in temperature and vegetation. You will see coffee plantations as well as fern, flower and strawberry farms along the way, creating a beautiful landscape.
On the way to the volcano you will visit Doka Coffee Estate for a delicious breakfast and a coffee tour, in an actual coffee plantation where you will learn about the ancient techniques used by the experts to produce one of the best coffees in Costa Rica. Learn about the careful process involved in the cultivation, harvesting and roasting of the Golden Bean.
After the coffee tour continue on to Poás Volcano where you will not only see the impressive main crater with its sulfur fumaroles, but also learn about the different ecosystems in this beautiful national park.
Following the visit to the volcano you will continue to La Paz Water Fall Garden for lunch and tour. On arrival to the La Paz, you will walk through a trail, leading to a spectacular waterfall in the middle of the rainforest. Inside the park you will also visit the hummingbird gallery, the serpentarium, the bird house, the butterfly garden and the frog’s exhibit.
DAY 14:
Departure Day
Have breakfast in the hotel and afterward your driver will pick you up to be taken to the airport where you’ll fly back home.

8 Day Food Lovers in Santa Ana & La Fortuna
Day 1:
Arrive in San Jose where you will be met by a driver who will take you to Zamora Estates Hotel.
The Zamora Estate is your unexpected and intriguing island of natural beauty hidden in the midst of Costa Rica’s capital city, San Jose.
You'll be whisked away from the cares of this world as you relax in your winsome private cottage. Generations of the dutiful Zamora family who run the Estate have carefully guarded this secluded sanctuary, yet now make it available to you for the first time in 110 years. Arrangements for gourmet dinners can be made.
Day 2:
This morning after your delicious (included) breakfast on the veranda, enjoy a gourmet cooking class with Chef Ana, owner of Zamora Estates. Ana´s engaging personality will amuse and inspire you while you become familiar with local fresh ingredients and learn how to make delicious dishes with them.
In the afternoon, explore the sites and sounds of this typical Costa Rican town. We would suggest Bacchus Restaurant for your dinner (not included). All within walking distance of Zamora Estates.
Take a Peruvian chef trained in France and an Italian owner, and you get Bacchus, a welcome addition to the local dining scene. The cuisine is a mix of French and Italian dishes such as duck breast in a port sauce, baked mushroom-and-polenta ragout, and a variety of pizzas. Modern art enhances the simple but elegant interior. Outdoor seating is available.
Day 3:
Today you will be taken to Finca Rosa Blanca were you will stay two nights in a junior suite.
Day 4:
Finca Rosa Blanca has 30 acres of hard bean coffee which is certified organic by the BCS OKO Garantie, an international organic agriculture certification and is certified sustainable by Rain Forest Alliance and ICAFE, the Costa Rican National Organization for Coffee.
Experience coffee through the ages. Learn how coffee was discovered, traded and consumed, then stroll the lanes of our organic sustainable coffee plantation and learn the entire process of organic cultivation and harvest. You will even be able to participate in the picking of coffee during our harvest Season (Oct- Jan.) Your guides will then take you through the processing of coffee, including cleaning the berries and drying them. You will then roast your own coffee in the roasting and packing house.
Learn how the experts discern and rate gourmet coffee by participating in a “coffee cupping” (catación) session with your knowledgeable Barista and Coffee Tour Guide. Make arrangments for this at the front desk of your hotel upon arrival.
Day 5:
Today travel to the La Fortuna area of Costa Rica, home of the famous Arenal volcano, Central America´s most famous active volcano. Then check into your Casita Suite room.

Arenal Hanging Bridges - morning
This is a beautiful , environmentally-friendly project located near the Arenal Volcano.
There are trails and bridges that bring you as close as you could ever hope to get to the birds, the flowers and the lush vegetation of this primary rainforest.

DAY 1:
Arrive at San Jose International Airport (SJO) where you will be met by your driver who will be holding a sign with your name on it. He has your flight information and will track your flight just in case of delays or problems.
Your driver will take you to The Don Carlos Hotel where you will spend one night. The Don Carlos Hotel is located in the oldest historical section of San José. The Hotel Don Carlos is small, but as the former residence of two past Presidential families, is also a significant part of Costa Rica’s rich heritage.
DAY 2:
Enjoy your included breakfast and be prepared to transfer to the town of La Fortuna, home of the famous Arenal Volcano. You will arrive at Hotel Arenal Manoa in time for lunch. Arenal offers Costa Rica´s most active volcano, with almost daily displays.
DAY 3:
Be sure to arrive in the lobby of the hotel for your Liquid Lava Tour by 3:30 pm.

Canopy Zip Line Tour
After enjoying your included breakfast in the dining room, meet in the lobby of the hotel for your Canopy Zip Line tour. You'll fly over the treetops through 10 different cables, in total, 13,387 feet, with lengths spanning 2,526 feet, heights of 460 feet and a view of nature from angles you'll never see anywhere else. With luck, you may even see howler monkeys as you breeze by.

Your flight will land in San Jose and you're romantic adventure will begin. Your driver will take you to The Grano de Oro Hotel where you will spend two nights. Day 2:
Orosi Valley Tour
Today you'll get out of the city to visit Cartago, first capital of Costa Rica, home of Our Lady of the Angels Basilica. After visiting the Basilica you'll stop at Lankester Gardens, a University of Costa Rica Center for investigation that protects more than 800 species of orchids, bromeliads and countless species of other plants. You will continue to the Orosi Valley. You will be able to visit one of the few remaining colonial churches and stop for lunch in one of the local restaurants.
During your tour you will be able to observe La Casa Del Soñador for an example of Costa Rican primitive art. Orosi is home to the oldest church in Costa Rica still holding mass. It was constructed in 1743 by Franciscan monks. You will then be returned to the Grano de Oro.
Day 3:
This morning after breakfast, your private driver will pick you up and take you to Hotel Arenal Nayara in La Fortuna where you will spend 3 nights in a Honeymoon Suite.

Hanging Bridges Tour
The Arenal Hanging Bridges tour is on a 600-acre reserve filled with lush vegetation and a variety of birds and animals which your experienced guide will help you spot. The trail itself is 1.9 miles (3.1 km) in length, crossing nine fixed bridges and 6 suspension bridges and is laid out at a maximum grade of 7 degrees so that anyone can walk it. After your tour, you'll be transported back to your hotel for lunch.
Canopy Tour
Be ready at the hotel to be picked up at 2:30 pm for your exciting Canopy Zip Line tour. There you begin your adrenaline-pumping adventure above the treetops, consisting of a system of zip lines. You will definitely observe the rainforest and its landscape from a different, safe, perspective.
The tour includes 8 cross-sectional cables that together have a total length of 1.7 miles with distances from 100 to 2460 feet with a maximum height of 660 feet. You'll be soaring along the treetops and enjoying panoramic views of the Arenal volcano and lake.

Within this magnificent landscape, your guide will help you identify some of the more than 260 species of birds and 180 species of mammals that call the park their home. Use a telescope to spot exotic toucans, flocks of parakeets and parrots, and the vivid colors of tanagers and hummingbirds that may be found camouflaged in the dense forest. Day 8:

Your adventure aboard this classic yacht begins as you sail down the scenic coast, past the beautiful beaches and islands of Manuel Antonio National Park. To take advantage of the weather, during the green season this is a morning cruise. During the dry season it's a sunset cruise.
As the boat glides quietly under sail, you'll probably see dolphins which frequently swim in the boat's wake. Occasional whales and giant sea turtles make an appearance and are a special thrill. Transportation provided by the tour operator will pick you up at your hotel from where you will start your ride to Manuel Antonio National Park. This national park is one of the most famous in our country due to its wide variety of flora and fauna specimens. The park itself boasts 3 different trails that vary in grade from flat to very steep.
On this Manuel Antonio tour you will be accompanied by a nature guide who is knowledgeable about everything you will see. The trail you will take is flat and picturesque and loops through the park making your course approximately 2 miles long. Throughout the hike your guide will stop and explain the different nature specimens that can be observed, you can take photographs or just admire the view.
One of the highlights of this Manuel Antonio tour is that the park is home to 3 of the 4 existing monkey species in Costa Rica. Half way through the hike you will make a leisure stop at the third beach located within the national park. You will have approximately 20 minutes to rest on the beach or play among the waves if you so choose. We begin our hike in the primary Humid Forest where several fauna species and exuberant flora are easily found. We will also visit a magnificent waterfall and hot springs (swimming in dry season only). This tour is recommended for hikers or anyone that loves natural outdoor adventures. Remember your swimsuit, hiking shoes, sandals, binoculars, camera, sun block, money and hat.

Rafting on the Tenorio River:
Tenorio Rivers is beautiful and rises at Tenorio Volcano at Guanacaste mountain range. It’s pure, white water makes it the best river in the Guanacaste area for rafting. You can combine almost 20 kilometers of rapids with magnificent landscapes surrounded by tropical forest.
No experience is required but you will need to exert some effort on this world famous class III and IV white water rafting adventure before sitting down to a delicious lunch. Once at the park entrance, we start the hike through this primary Humid Forest. Several fauna species and exuberant flora are easily found in this ecosystem. During this walk, we visit a magnificent waterfall and hot springs (swimming in dry season only). This tour is recommended for hikers or anyone that loves natural outdoor adventures.

8 Day Spring Break in Puerto Viejo & Arenal
Day 1:
Arrive in San Jose where you will be met by a driver. Depending on your time of arrival, you can go directly to Puerto Viejo or if you have a late arrival, you can spend the night in San Jose for an early morning departure. The drive to Puerto Viejo is through a Cloud Forest and eventually ends up in the Caribbean lowland beach town of Puerto Viejo. You will be staying at Banana Azul for 3 nights.
Day 2:
After breakfast it's off to Aventuras Bravas for surfing lessons. Semi-Private Lessons (2 or 3 students per coach) are designed for those who want to dive into the action and get the most out of a lesson. These lessons are great for the pure beginner or the more advanced surfer wanting to bump up their skills.
Each class includes a surf coach, surf board and transportation if needed. Your coach will use long, soft surf boards designed specifically for learning.
You'll then enjoy the beach and party scene in Puerto Viejo. Spend the night at Banana Azul.
Day 3:
Today is your own. Feel free to rent bikes or walk and explore the town and environs, relax on the beach and hang out with the locals to learn about the Caribbean culture.
Day 4:
Today you're off on an incredible white water rafting excursion on the beautiul Pacaure River. These Class III and IV rapids combined with some slower gentler rafting is the perfect way to experience the natural beauty of Costa Rica. After your rafting experience, you will travel to the Arenal area where you will stay at the Arenal Paraiso Lodge for 3 nights.
Day 5:
This morning you will be picked up for your canopy zip line tour. Zip through the canopy over the mountains and streams. Stay at Arenal Paraiso Lodge
Day 6:
It's canyoneering day! The Lost Canyon trip is a combination of hiking and waterfall repelling that provides an incredibly unique outdoor experiience.
